Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Puddin'

Chia Pudding is a tasty, filling and easy on-the-go breakfast idea and takes just a few minutes to prepare!


Benefits of Chia Seeds: 

  • Antioxidants

  • Fiber

  • Plant-based protein

  • Omega-3 Fatty Acids

  • Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium

 

INGREDIENTS (makes 4 chia pods):

  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole, skim, almond, soy, cashew)

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 2 tablespoons of honey, agave, or maple syrup

  • Optional: splash of vanilla flavoring and sprinkle of cinnamon powder

  • Toppings of choice: sliced almonds, berries, peanut butter, granola, banana slices, etc

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all ingredients (milk, chia, sweetener, vanilla, cinnamon) together in a small jar, except toppings

  • Cover with jar lid (or saran wrap if using a bowl) and let sit in refrigerator overnight..will thicken overnight into pudding consistency

  • Top with berries, nuts, seeds, etc in the morning 

  • YUM! So simple, so tasty (:
